looks good. A real test is water falling like in a river. close up image and see if you get any color anomaly or mp4 artifact during compression. Definitely worth a test of sony vs pany.

Default HS10 video mode is bad

I ordered the Panasonic HDC-TM700 , it cost twice as much but I wanted better video than my Pentax K-7. The HS10 looks great for still shots with a wide 30x range.

Your comparing bad videography vs quality. LOL! Sure quality is okay but man these guys just take really bad video.

Those who are wondering of IQ of HS10 if you are not satisfied with Sony TX7 or HX5V soft image then HS10 may not satisfy you either

This image is a bit on the warm color but I love the bird's shoulder shadow. You can see detail on it. Also, iso might be higher than 100. The beak bleeds yellow slightly and in the shadow some color anomaly. I love the zoom ability. It is just amazing. None the less, it is am amazing shot and to top this off it's off a bridge camera.

[QUOTE=Shahmatt;1047942]Oh come on. Doesn't anyone feel that this camera is stretching it a bit?

Only time will tell

Who needs 720 anyway except spies and stalkers?

For those who do fire and rescue photography this will be a major plus to have over 200mm, over300 and over 400mm in some cases. Also think about wildlife shooters as well......

4AA batteries again.

Nice! No more costly battery packs and funky chargers.......

Dave-

No, I have not received my HS-10 yet. That is a friend's photo that I was very impressed with. I had his permission to post the image. I think it is a good example of what we are all hoping for when we receive our copies of the HS-10.
