Is this true are do you use this method also with ten other cameras?
If it so ... a "nice" method to get cameras ... Mr. "boxless"

Hey guys, I picked up a delkin 3in hood for my HS10 mainly to protect the screen but also handy for bright days. Sorry about poor quality, but there is only so much you can do with a C905 mobile phone!

Removed with frame stuck to lcd

Two questions:
How much of the LCD viewing area is lost with this hood attached?
Can you still use the Electronic Viewfinder with the hood closed?

The HS10 has a black frame around the LCD anyway and the hood frame sits on this so if it came to it, it would be less than a milimeter loss. You can use the evf still with the added benefit of not smearing your nose on the screen! If you need to you can take the hood off anyway and it will leave the frame and screen protector in place.

I bought this same hood about 3 months ago and I'm really pleased with it. No more worries about screen damage.

Default Panorama only approx.135

Hi everybody,

this is my first posting in this forum. My English is lousy because I am German. So please forgive and/or correct.
I haven't read all 57 pages of this forum yet, so please excuse if my questions had been answered already.

I bought a HS 10 (V 1.02) yesterday and have been testing it since. As I am going to Africa Feb. next I started with the "long" end, trying to optimize the settings of "C" to take long distance shots. This worked pretty well, even the green-problem is not as bad as I thought.

Now my first question: When I take a panorama shot -how fast ever- it ends/stops after about 135 . What could be the reason?

Looking forward to reading you

Hakuna matata

Edit: Is there a direct posibility to attach pictures to ones post (without having them stored somewhere in the www before)?

THX a lot!

Seems to be a bit complicated. Well, we'll see.

No one to the panorama problem?
