It doesn't have quality of a "real" fisheye, but for seldom use and 1/10 of price it's okay ... and it fits all my cameras.
Picture 4:3, 18..20mm, factor 0.25x
You get different diameters, I use 58mm ... if necessary with cheap adapter rings.

Are those Snow Drops (the flowers in the last 2 pictures)?

I loved Snow Drops as a kid. There was a patch alongside my parent's home and they would literally push aside the remaining snow in the spring to start growing and blossoming!

I have been looking at this camera at my local shop recently, and I found out it is still pretty expensive while it has been around for over a year.

I found an HS10 for under $350CDN last week and by the time I picked mine up at The Source in Penticton it was the last one in the Okanagan Valley at that price. Everyone else is still charging $430 - $460.

I've had two other Fuji cameras in the past, an S5200 and S9100, so I'm pretty familiar with how these cameras work. I also have a Sony DSLR A200 that I'm very happy with, but the HS10 is far more fun to use. It handles better and feels better in the hand because of it's excellent build quality. The A200 feels more plasticky, particularly in the grip area. The Fuji's grip is deeper and more comfortable to hold.

IQ is excellent for a small-sensor camera, but of course it's not up to par with even an entry-level DSLR, nor is it meant to be. The HS10 is the Swiss Army knife of the camera world, able to do just about everything and do it quite well. I've even stopped using my camcorder because the HS10's video performance is actually better. Very impressive.

The lens is worth the price of admission all by itself. The lack of CA and distortion is amazing, and the 30X zoom is spectacular.

The HS10's learning curve is fairly steep and it seems to work much better in it's manual modes so it's definitely not for everyone. It's no point-and-shoot, even though it can be used that way. All in all, a keeper.

Hi Dears.

I bought this camera a few weeks ago, and I am loving this camera.

I em just in doubt about a thing: when I take pictures using the mode raf + jpg I can find the jpg files, but something like this:

DSCF0155 (1).RAF
DSCF0155.RAF
DSCF0156 (2).RAF
DSCF0156.RAF
DSCF0157 (3).RAF
DSCF0157.RAF

I canīt understand it. Is it normal? Am I doing something stupid?

Besides this, the camera is fantastic. I bought it to replace my old Fuji S2000HD that was stolen. I use it everyday, and I recommend it.

Thanks for your comments.
