I'll order one after the first review.

Dave, Gary and Strobe-

I bit the bullet and placed my pre-order for the HS-10. Hopefully the wait will not be too long.

Yes, I pre ordered one because than I have one before they are sold out and I have to wait a very long time to get my hands on one of these revolutionairy cameras.
Collectors items are hard to get.

Regards,

I didn't preorder. I wait till China and USA got all the beta cams ... and then buy a regular HS10 :-)

Sarah I just pre-ordered one myself and also bought 2x 8GB micro SD class 6 cards (the cards come with a full size to micro SDHC adapter). My waterproof camera can use the micro cards........ I did at least 10 hours of research on it the last 2 weeks and it seems like the kind of camera that will work for what I do with my cameras and it seemed like after reading about several other cameras to be the best of the best so far. Hoping the pictures in low light turn out to be as good as they claim they will be.

Davre-

I agree. Placing the order was putting faith in the high ISO performance of the HS-10. If the HS-10 nis as good as it looks on paper, we have a winner.

I'm in. Even if it's not as impeccable as it looks it's still a lot better than the 9 year old point and shoot I have now.
