Nope. But then, I don't pixel-peep. If one looks hard enough and long enough, there's a flaw in everything.

Not that I have seen...... I blew up a few photos to 100% in Photo Shop Elements that needed to go into the local paper to check sharpness etc and saw nothing of that sort

No pixel-peeping involved. Just take the card out of the camera, plop it in the card reader, and open the file in PSP. Edge artifacts are very visible and very bad. I don't have the camera with me tonight. I'll post a pic sometime in the next day or two.

No problem at my end. My stuff looks just fine. Perhaps it was part of "all the problems" that are fixed in the firmware update.

Default Here's a pic.

Camera sharpening set to standard. That's not the problem. I've barely had time to even do any shooting so I haven't played with the camera settings. That's okay though because I always like to see how a camera performs right out of the box before I begin tweaking anyway. That's why the exposure is incorrect in this pic. It's not the camera's fault. I was shooting under difficult lighting conditions that would require some manual setting to get a correct exposure. The edge artifacts are another matter. They shouldn't be this bad under any conditions. And this is one of the better images. I deleted the really bad ones although this one looks much worse printed out at 4x6 than it does here. Btw, gjtoth, thanks for the heads up on the firmware update. I wasn't aware there was one.

Default HS10 artifacts

Not sure if this is what you mean, but a discussion of "artifacts".
