Thank you for the confirmation. Even foliage looks pleasing now.

Yup. Sarcasm. Some folks get it. Some never will. heheheheh

Upgrade completed without a hitch. Now, I have to build an ark. Been raining here for 3 days. 37 more to go, apparently.

Looks like it does what it's meant to do although, it's really a crappy day to test it. I may take some indoor shots and compare to past images.

Someone please tell us what all this update does..
Primarily, does it solve the delete bug? They don't mention it in the upgrade details.

I'm expecting my HS10 to arrive next week... Can't wait..

EDIT: I hope all those people who returned their cameras regret it now......
Yes. It fixes the DELETE bug

Please post if you see any noticeable change in battery indicator behavior after the firmware update. Thanks.

gjtoth, my HS10 is currently with you in Louisville, KY. Please make sure it gets on the correct UPS plane headed my way. If you need break from the rain you should head my way. We have had a beautiful spring. We had a little rain this weekend. We were lucky and the tornados and storms stayed north of us. Where I am on the gulf coast tends to get lucky with storms like that. We are just far enough off the coast that the gulf airs push things just north of us.

Tomorrow should be a perfect day for a trip to the botanical gardens and park. I may hit Bellingrath Gardens this weekend.

I am so glad I found this site. You have all been such a great source of information. I never would have known about the firmware update. Thank you. I am sure I will have questions for you tomorrow.
