4-5 seconds... something like that.

Cheap. I really don't believe it makes that much of difference. What... a few milliseconds? I'm not in that big a hurry.

I guess I'm a fast counter - just timed it and got about 7-8 seconds. Seems like an eternity when you waiting for it!

Now stop bothering me so I can get some work done! The weather's nice and I'd like to get out this afternoon in my Corvette and get to use this camera in the outside world (Mt Desert Island, Maine)!

Ahhh....the joys of self-employment......

Thank you. I've read that it was slow. I don't think that will be a deal breaker for me.

It's nowhere NEAR that. You read wrong or the person that wrote it has no concept of time. For crying out loud! We're splitting hairs here. We're talking SECONDS... not minutes or hours!

Please, if you don't have the camera, don't post goofy stuff like that.

4-5 seconds is more than acceptable, but 15 seconds is rather annoying, wouldn't you say?

And oh, I'm not the one posting goofy stuff, mine was more of a question... I think I read that information from this forum itself.

Then, site your source. I just clock it at 6.1 seconds. A question, as you use it in this post, has a question mark. You made a statement. No question mark.

@gjtoth..
I'm not here to fight over an issue as trivial as this. Hence I'm not going to dig into threads to produce the place where I got that information.

Yes, it didn't have a question mark, so I specified in my next post that it was more of a question.

Even if what I'd asked was framed incorrectly, you needn't get so emotional about it. It's just a camera after all. So chill..

Thanks for letting us know it's only 6.1 seconds, I trust your measurement..
