In manual I can find nothing - but in manual even tiltable display is not mentioned ...

Checked it out and it does do that as stated earlier but only in jpeg.

Unfortunately, the manual has no index, but the table of contents in the front is pretty detailed - it lists this page:

I see this feature helps one fill the frame with the subject so the focusing can be more accurate.

Default HS10 Digital Zoom

I bought my HD10 last week and am delighted with it!

The Jessops and Amazon pages claim a 2x digital zoom, but not the actual Fuji page or manual, then my colleague showed me his 200EXR, which looks very similiar to the HD10, so I down loaded the 200EXR manual and page 17 gives the instruction.

I have not fully explored it yet, but with the camera on Auto (red camera symbol in top left of viewfinder), press the top arrow of the selector and the zoom is now 2x - 60x.
