The Fujifilm HS10 external flash does not support any TTL what so ever - so you have to use the external flash with Manual mode, especially those that let you choose the power level manually.

I use the old YongNuo Speed Lite YN-460 and it works very well. This model is no longer available now but instead you should go for Yong Nuo Speed Lite YN-460 II which you can get from E-Bay or any other online seller I believe.

Any other external flash with Manual mode should be OK as long as the trigger voltage does not exceed 50V. The YongNuo YN-460 and the YN-460 II trigger voltage is only around 3.3V

You can read my amateur review for the cheap YN-460 flash in here =

Good luck.
