Default Very new HS10 owner......

Sorry guys,
possible another silly question.....
I can not see any battery level indicator...help please.

yes thats the same as the basic manual says,

Andy,

No battery level indication until a red low level alert. Depending upon what you are using for batteries, the low level indicator may come on early leaving you with plenty more shots.

Shows with all types (make sure you set the battery type in the setup menu). I have not taken many pictures, but my battery history has been approx. 300 shots with the original alkalines that came with the camera (I think battery level warning came on at about 200, then at 300 I started losing focus and write time); I then, while waiting for my new Pearstone NiMH's to discharge/recharge 3x, put in a set of Energizer Lithium Ultra's and got a whopping 1200 shots (warning level gave me about 20 shots before camera stopped functioning); I now have the freshly charged Pearstone 2900's in, and a new set of Sanyo eneloops on standby. I have not had time or weather to do any shooting.

Your results may vary depending upon your camera settings.

lol, just got the red level come up.
Sorry another Q,
can i set the clock as 24hr as cant see this option.
