Default A Morning Redhead

From the HS-10 that is terribly difficult to use and whose IQ is junk.

Well from what I've seen it's like many other cameras, it has good points and it has bad points. There isn't a perfect camera, just one that is good for you..... this is why I have 6 dSLRs and 2 P&S with an underwater on the way..... or is that just because I like toys LOL.

Anyway, you seem to be doing just fine with the HS10 as are others so don't let negativity get you down!

I hear ya! I just get soooo tired of people spreading what is, in essence, gossip without any basis in fact. Issuing blanket statements like, "It's difficult to use" or "Along with the 'known' problems..." without stating what those difficulties are or what those "known" problems are aren't doing anyone any favors. "Difficult to use..."? By whom? ANY camera can be difficult to use under the assumption you (a) don't want to read the manual (b) have no experience whatsoever with cameras (c) just don't have the aptitude to comprehend "the triangle" - and there ARE folks like that. Those folks should be pointed to a P&S until they are READY for something like the HS-10 or FZ35. Sure, folks WANT to take pictures of sports or their hyperactive children. But, to automatically point them to a DSLR is almost criminal after those same people have stated their inexperience. After all is said and done, some folks just AIN'T gonna get it and then, after spending $3000 on equipment, turn right around and blame the person making the recommendation instead of shouldering the mantle of "I got in over my head".

Finally! Someone who understands my need for multiple cameras. Not all cameras do the same job! I have a pink Holga and filters on the way.
