Default Nice 3D

Today I got my Samsung 40" 3D TV (Samsung LE40C750) - it's an excellent "3D machine". price ~ € 1050

• Diagonale: 40"/102cm
• Auflösung: 1920x1080
• Format: 16:9
• Anschlüsse: 4x HDMI 1.4, Komponenten (YUV), 2x SCART, VGA, Composite Video
• Maße (BxHxT): 98.7x66.6x27.1cm
• Gewicht: 16.2kg
• integrierter DVB-C/-T-Tuner (MPEG-4 AVC),
• 200Hz-Panel, DLNA-Client, USB-Recorder,
• DivX-HD-/MKV-Unterstützung,
• Webservices, CI+-Slot, 3D-fähig

Of course you also need shutter glasses (price under € 100 - or starter kit with 2 glasses and 3D bluray "Monsters vs. Aliens" .. price € 70 - € 170)

First I tried 3D tennis (BMW Open), which I yesterday stored from ANIXE HD TV on my 2.5" portable harddisk - verrry good.

Then I made some 3D pictures with my Fuji W1 - also looking in 1920x1080 in full 3D.

Tomorrow I will look 3D pictures made with Canon 550D, Lumix GH1 and Fuji HS10.

Home-brew-samples with Fuji Real3D W1

DIY printed manual(s) - thanx Canon IP4000

To look 3D movies (lots of trailers available) copy them on USB-Stick or (portable 2.5") harddisk and connect to
Samsung TV's USB ... that's all! Nooooo bluray player or PC needed.

I tried mpg, mp4, avi, divx, ts ... all worked!

Can DonalDuc help?

I also have a Samsung 3d tv and fuji W1.

How do you get the fuji stereo photos (mpo) to display in 3d on the tv?

When I connect the camera to to the TV via usb, the tv displays a pop up menu to display photos, but does not see the mpo (side by side stereo) files, only the one-view jpgs which the camera also keeps.

I also just tried viewing a fuji 3d avi saved on the camera connected to the TV by USB, but the TV Media Play says "no movie files found on current device".

When I tried viewing the same fuji 3d avi saved on to an external usb hard drive, the TV Media Play sees the file, but says "unsupported file format".

What do I have to do to view the Fuji 3d photo and avi files on the Samsung TV?

TV recognizes 3D also if video/picture comes via HDMI (f.e. SAT-receiver <---USB) or you use an HDMI cardreader (~ 30 €)

Thanks DonalDuc.

So camera won't display 3d on TV when connected via USB.

I have ordered a player.

If 3D TV cannot accept all 3D formats, so you can make 3D pictures side-by-side or above-and-down with different soft, f.e. StereoPhotoMaker.

also Stereo Movie Maker
