As a doddering 74-year-old in the early stages (or worse) of alzheimer's, could someone kindly guide me to the download link for this upgrade? I can't find it on the OP's upgrade page link.

Cheers.

edit: OK, I found it after accepting the user agreement. Doh!

Hi all just wondering,
When doing upgrade pc to camera via usb.
1 Do you realy need the HS10 finepix software already installed on computer.
2 Would it work if it wasnt and has anybody tried doing the upgrade that way.

I am not interested in using the bundled software atm although might do at later stage.
Thankyou Kindly

No. Not needed. You will need to d/l the updater and the firmware. Follow the instructions TO THE LETTER and you'll be just fine.

Thankyou gjtoth,
I didnt see the sense in the way fuji explained that but now I can
relax a bit and get on doing what i want to do.
Oh by the way I think your photos are awesome and it is one
of the main reasons I bought the cam.

Thanks very much, indeed, for your kind words. I'm sure you will do as well or better. Don't be afraid to post some images!

Hi Gary
Just a word to say I did the upgrade today without a hitch.
Thankyou again for the advise as it was reassuring.
Now to take some photos and do some posting :-)

Hey all. New to the forum after several years of reading. Just got my HS10 today. Replacing defective S200EXR. It came preloaded with firmware 1.02 so I have no comparison. So far, happy with IQ. Not quite a match for the 200EXR, but close enough for me.

Small mention of it here. Not been released or confirmed by Fuji yet.
