Default Fujifilm HS10 vs. Sony HX1

I have tested the Fujifilm HS10 and Sony HX1.

HS10:
Movie mode is not customizable, good quality, impossible to do a fluid zoom in/out. Macro is excellent but not panorama.

Sample video at zoom x30 (Red-backed Shrike):

In photo mode the AF-C "continuous" is not. If you press 1/2, AF is blocked same as in AF-S. So, impossible to take fast actions.

Default First Post is incomplete

Your findings are about only one camera which are basically negative and nothing about the other camera.

I guess because it is a Fuji forum your other camera findings can be found in there.

Oh, wait, you have only posted once.

I figure if I want video, I'll buy a video camera. Thanks for the very important information, though. It certainly helps to know that the HS-10 is a still camera.

Some people are bitten in their *** because off the big zoom and other good qualities the HS10 has i think , so they find something to nag about and do so here, , maybe without ever having used a HS10.
Come on all of us here reading and writing in this corner of this forum, know the HS10 inside and out, and also the disadvantages , so why bring it up again ? bored or what ?
