Default HS10 Panorama

Can anyone tell me HOW to do this. Im either doing it to slow or too fast, also there is something in the manual re one has to have the zoom out for this use?
Appreciate the help asap.

The lense has to be all the way wide angle & follow the direction you selected. It may take a few tries to get the speed correct. I also believe you have to complete your pan to the end.

In this case "zoom out" means out to the widest angle ("zoom in" would mean get closer).

Default Problem Solved

I had to go to the dealer for a UV filter so asked there. Zoom does not matter, according to them and they showed me what i was doing wrong.I was not waiting for the bar to appear on screen and was not holding the Shutter button down for the time I was panning. So Simple LOL
