Default Hawk with the HS-10

This guy was on the hunt for a juvenile woodchuck. He never did get him. He was very ticked... probably venting, as he was VERY vocal. heheheh He stayed around just to make sure the woodchuck was not going to return. I can always tell when these guys around. The feeding station is conspicuously absent of customers.

Super pics, Gary. You're so fortunate in having such varied wildlife in your area that large-city dwellers never encounter. Your expertise with the HS 10 and subject matter is enviable.

Thanks very much, everyone.

@Wardonia -

I live in the suburbs of Louisville. But, if I lived in downtown Louisville, I would find SOMETHING to capture. The more you use your camera, the better you get to know what it can and can't do (which ain't much with the HS-10!). Once you know that, you can develop your technique/style. I have at least one camera with me ALWAYS because the time you don't is the time you'll wish you did.
