Default Jackpot House - HS10 Zoom

Hi everybody

Today I finally got my HS10, after some 6 weeks of waiting. (Out of stock and slow delivery...).

Here a photo of some young boys playing in the Jackpot House (first photo, full zoom), try to see them on the wide angle photo

Glad you got your camera, I find it strange that I have been able to walk into two shops and walk out with an HS10! (One went faulty) The zoom on this camera is amazing and I think it is going to very handy. Check out the boat pics below at 24mm and 720mm.

The HS10 had digital zoom as well or are you pulling my shutter release? What's cool is that the marina building in the background is nealry 1.5miles away!

I've been hearing things about bad image quality with the HS10 but so far the shots I have taken seem good. Can't wait to take it on holiday in August and to the zoo. Actually with a bit of maths, that Marina building is 2.2 miles from the photo point!

What you are hearing is from people that (a) don't have the camera and are embellishing what others have said or, (b) they have the camera but have not taken the time to learn it or just don't have the talent or wherewithal to use it to its full capacity.
