Looks like the HS 10 is a hit with many improvements and some things remaining the same. I had hopes they would improve the EVF,, but it seems they did not. My S100fs is very dark and difficult to see through. I have a several years older Panasonic FZ30 whose EVF is much better.... Maybe one day they will get it all together??????

Keith, the EVF could be better, but it isn't all that bad.

One of the main reason's I let mine go...I am so accustom to the FZ35 EVF which seems much better?

It would have helped if an eyecup had been used. There are several clues that the bean counters held a bit too much sway in the design and marketing of the HS10. Penny wise and pound foolish may have kept this from being a great camera.
