Default I Would Love To Have An HS10

But,,,, for the time being my old S100fs will have to do until it fails.. Maybe it will fail soon and I will have a good reason too upgrade. This is just a few shots made here and there the last few days.. Thanks for taking a look and leaving a comment...

S100fs:

Looks like it's working just fine for you, Keith. Hang onto it!

Keith - Amazing pictures. You won't get this kind of IQ with the HS10. I'm saying this as a HS10 user.

Lovely pictures, Keith. I doubt you would do better with any other camera, let alone the HS10.....ok, maybe a Linhof Technikardan field cam. :-)

Thanks folks for the fine comments... My camera is several years old now and sometimes I get the feeling that newer technology would be an improvement.. I guess that sometimes newer is not always better. Thanks again.

Keith.

your sensor is far superior than my s200exr or the hs10. Stick with it. it outputs less noise.

Keith.
Newer isn't necessarily better when the manufacturers try to cram more pixels into smaller sensors. The sensor on the S100 is bigger than the one in the HS10 and it really shows in the IQ.

I'm not complaining, the HS10 has some nice features but you cant beat the S100 on IQ.

A case of the grass being greener... There are many ex-HS10 users who would love to have your S100fs. While both are very capable cameras, the lens/sensor combination in the S100fs is unmatched. On top of it, the S100fs is nearly impossible to find even used and if you do you will pay dearly for it. I would think long and hard before making that move.
