Default The Dreaded "Zoom Error" Message

About three weeks ago I had the dreaded "Zoom Error" message on my FujiFilm Finepix J28. At the time, the zoom lens would move in and out, but I would still get the Zoom Error message when it turned out. After visiting this forum, I did what was suggested (holding the lens while powering on/off the camera) and it fixed the problem. Yea! (and thank you).

Alas, today my wife told me that the problem was back...and now the zoom lens is stuck in the out position. It doesn't move when you power on/off the camera. It tries to move (I hear and see it), but nothing happens.

Any advice on this? I sure wish I would have read about these problems with the camera before putting it on Santa's wish list...

Thanks in advance,

Don

Any help here? We've had to revert back to our bulky, AA-battery eating one.

Thanks!
