I'm lovin' my HS10 too. If you're into birding - you'll love the reach.

Yes, but I think SO's photos would whip mine no matter what camera I used. She's got some kind of magic software or something

How did you get those shots so clear SO? Tripod? Wizzard, i think it was a Lemer! Shot across a moat as they were looking for food. Is there anyway of adding gps position to shots? I have a Sony C905 phone with geotagging so I could duplicate the shots but it's a lot of effort.

Geotagged:

I've never used geotagging so I don't know the answer... I do believe there are
devices you can buy that do it but someone else will have to chime in on that...
Maybe you could pose that question in the general discussion forum...?

http://forums.steves-digicams.com/ge...discussion-11/

I'd be interested in the answer myself...

OTW - I think your shots are very magical too! Always a joy to view.

Kenzie - these shots were taken free handed. I can do okay without a tripod when the shutter speed is strong. My tripod is really worn; I hope that Santa might bring me a better one for Christmas but probably not.

Maybe I need to spend more time learning my settings. I do feel bad though, we have kinda hijacked this thread!

Well, not really...

bluzfrek wanted to know about these cameras and get some owner input
about how they performed, etc...

A picture is worth a thousand words and these pictures show what all
these three cameras are realistically capable of...
