Default Raynox fuzzball

I found this guy toodling around in front of our fireplace. I believe it's a Wooly Bear catepillar but I'm no entomologist. He's about 1 1/2" long.

I would have thought it would be wraped up in a cocoon by now...

It's one of those special "indoor" catepillars.

You count the black rings they tell how many months of cold there will be
I found a all white in Branson Missouri and the summer after the freeze I was in ... the following year was a cold month but I had gone north.... and yes there was snow and ice that years for the solid winter time...
Looks like two on that one...
