Default Fuji Rumors After Earthquake

Any truth to the rumors that some of the new cameras including the HS20 may have to be delayed due to the Fuji plant in Japan being knock off line for the time being following the Earthquake in Japan......

I e-mail Fuji to ask if the HS20 was still going to be released on time and my message was returned stating mailbox at site was full.......

I heard that Fuji, Nikon, and Panasonic are effected

Not having a few camera's to play with is nothing compared to the daily horror the people in Japan are suffring

I saw someone ask a similar question on a motorcycle forum asking if the flow of bikes would be affected. I think they have more important things to worry about right now.

Not that it's important in light of the tragedy unfolding in Japan, but my HS10 was made in Indonesia, IIRC so were my S5200 and S9100.

fuji just temporarily halted production of the x100. other than that they have not been affected by the earthquake-
