Default HS20 Zoom Question

On the HS10 their was a way to quickly apply 2x digital zoom when taking a picture. I can't seem to figure out how to do that on HS20 if it can even be done. The botton that used to due it changes capture mode from jpeg to RAW

Any ideas. I used to like having that for the 1 in 10,000 times I needed a longer zoom etc. Found myself wanting it so bad today....

I just went through the whole manual, Dave. No joy. Looks like that feature was done away with. In fact, I don't think the HS-20 HAS digital zoom. No mention of it anywhere in the manual and can't find it in the menus.

G'day Photo-5

I don't have your model of fuji but ...
If I am shooting at max Mpixels, I cannot engage digi zoom, however when I downsize my Mpixels, digi-zoom now becomes an option

Maybe this will help
Regards, Phil

ps: just looked up dpreview for both the HS-10 & HS-20 ... they report 'Yes' digi-zoom for the HS-10, but not for the HS-20

Can't a digital zoom be applied through photo-processing software?

Yes, the HS20 does not have digital zoom. This feature has been removed.
