Default Rio Samba...

... roses. Used some OCF diffused with the Lambency Lightsphere.

Very nice effect with that diffuser, the water drops come out nicely in that way.

I've never quite 'got' these types of shot (maybe because Im only 28) but what is it about - the freshness as if its morning dew?

I think you may be trying to read too much into it. It's a rose with rain on it.

ahh right sorry. I thought it was fake water at first like I have seen in other shots. Good to know that yours is real rain! The other ones seem a bit 'contrived', different strokes for different folks though!

btw, not meaning to be pedantic but I just clicked on your gallery, in which you say, quite clearly that your work aims to celebrate gods creations, which we take for granted in a materialist capitalist society.

I couldn't agree more - I think that you can see profundity and divinity in a rose fed by dew and rain.
