Well, that's kind of a lot of pictures for people to wade through... Maybe you'd get more comments if you chose your favorite few and posted them here, in the thread?

We are a bit slow sometimes.

I think you could improve the composition and exposure for some of
the shots. For example:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/theiron...in/photostream
http://www.flickr.com/photos/theiron...in/photostream

The subject's face is very underexposed. This kind of shot can be tricky
in the middle of the day. Try to find an angle where there is more light
on the face or get in fairly close and use flash to fill in the shadows.

This one is technically much better, although the background is not
that inspiring and the gent on the left appears to have a pole growing
out of his head.

Many of the photos are simple travel snapshots and need no further
explanation. A few of the more unusual ones would benefit from a
short description. I'm curious about this one:

What is this structure?

I like the shots inside the submarine. The HS20 performed well
under these conditions.

thanks for the feedback and few of the pics are certainly under exposed and that happened due to the me being over cautious of not over exposing the pics. i will definitely try to learn more from the pics as this was the first trip with the HS-20 and now i am getting aware of how it will behave in certain condition..

the pole definitely looks odd however it was early morning and wanted to click a snap as we almost reached our destination by bus.

the small hut was initially used as a bus stop long back and now its abandoned. however it still looked pretty intresting to me for a photo hence captured it..

its a rural area and hence green else we get to see a concrete jungle every where.

Thanks for that. It looked interesting to me too. It caught my eye
and aroused my curiosity.

I enjoy seeing photographs from places like India, China and Africa on
here and other forums. Here in Ireland, we see many images from Western
Europe, North America and Australia on TV and on the web. Even vast
countries like India are more or less ignored by most media

From my perspective, images like yours are a window into a far away
and exotic place. So keep posting them please.
