Is this the Hs20 successor?

http://photorumors.com/2011/10/06/th...i-x-s1-camera/

the sensor on this is much better, they even lowered the zoom to 26x and probably added "digital zoom" since the sensor will allow for better image and detail. Just my speculation. 2/3 vs 1/2.3 exr sensor is really good. most likely better than the s100fs and that camera has superior image quality for a bridge camera and close to dslr I have ever seen in a camera. this sensor is basically a 1/4 of a size of the 4/3 sensors on a dslr and also if you want to look at a sample, look at the s100fs.

ohh ya and about the comment on the x10, jpeg processing on this camera vs x10 will be about 100x better in image quality and history of compact vs bridge has revealed this. If you look at all the x10 images out, you can bet your used lawnmower that this is going to be beyond that.

This is going to be a treat! especially for pixel peepers.

Here let me give you a sample

just look at how awesome the x10 which has the same sensor but inferior jpeg processing compared to the new xs1(history of compacts vs bridge cameras). It is still awesome. x-s1 will be even better.

Cannot wait. Surely Fuji have listened to people and seen for their own eyes the issues with the drastic noise reduction and processing plaguing recent cameras - (not just fuji but ALL companies)

If the lens is collecting more light than the X10 its bound to look even better even with multiple prisms, so really really excited. The proof is in the pudding as they say so will have to wait, but pretty sure this has gotta be similar to the the s100fs but with extended zoom capability. fingers crossed!

Its got 'Made In Japan' written on it which for me even at 29 and brought up in a very different world to some of you guys on here no doubt means that the Japs are proud to build it. So, it should be GOOOOOOOD!

Will DEFINITLEY bey getting the X10, will hopefully definitley be getting this too when the samples come out!

Read all the info on Fuji's web site and you will see they have gone way above in building this camera. Rick
