And Gary- I guess I forgot to mention...
I also ordered an HS-20EXR from them also...
I've become a diehard Fuji Fanatic.
Seems there ought to be a T-shirt in there somewhere...

Uhhhh........
Might I mention a company I had make me a couple of custom T-Shirts before with- and I had MOST satisfactory results with???
www.spreadshirts.com
No, I have no vested interest in them.... I am also into astronomy, and several of us in a Yahoo newsgroup dedicated to small telescopes built some telescopes using some vintage objectives we obtained, and I had some T-shirts made up with the logo... very, very well done, very reasonably priced on very good quality T-shirts.
Hmmmm...

Just saw the X-10 listed on Amazon. 6 left in stock. Thought I'd mention it for those that may be interested.

These are some samples.

As you can see above, the image quality is excelent in low ISO.

Another plus is its macro capability:

Flor-de-cera - Hoya carnosa - Fuji X10 Macro&DOF by Celso Kuwajima, on Flickr

The DOF can be very shallow:

Manjericão (Basil) - Ocimum basilicum -Fuji X10 Macro&DOF by Celso Kuwajima, on Flickr

As for High ISO, it is a mixed bag. The image quality using EXR is very good:

On the other hand, shooting in RAW, the results are very far from EXR (JPG) mode:

The X10 is a little marvel, with good optics (f/2.0-2.8 is outstanding) and some nice tricks in the hat (EXR DR and High ISO/Low Noise).

On the low side, I feel that battery life is too short and - not its fault - is not pocketable as is the Canon S95/S100.

Walked into the local camera store this afternoon, and saw that they got 20 of them yesterday... I picked one up... So far, terrific...

should of waited for the sx1, its better than hs20exr due to sensor being far superior.

Default Fuji quality

Who knows- I may trade up when it comes out. The Fujifilm S200 EXR I currently have is capable of some good image quality- I'd like the added zoom range of the HS20. I would imagine that the image quality of the new X-series will be even better.
