Default FujiFilm X-10 supply status???

Anyone have any feel for what the status/availability of this camera is??? As I understood, it was supposed to come out this week, I'm on B&H's notify list, have heard nothing. It seems it hasn't been released yet, but I also see a few at high $$$'s on eBay- and one ridiculously overpriced on an Amazon seller.
Thanks!
Wes

Hi Wes

From what I can make out, talking to a well Known big camera sales shop in the UK demand has TOTALLY outstripped supply. It might be another 3 weeks before a new batch from Japan arrives.

Btw I was lucky enough to have a quick go on a demo model. Very nice and sharp rear screen. The whole camera just feels soooooo right.

I've taken just a few photos. It has being raining or overcast skies for over a couple of weeks...

These are some samples.

Fuji X10 - Sample Image by Celso Kuwajima, on Flickr

As you can see above, the image quality is excelent in low ISO.

Another plus is its macro capability:

The DOF can be very shallow:

Manjericão (Basil) - Ocimum basilicum -Fuji X10 Macro&DOF by Celso Kuwajima, on Flickr

As for High ISO, it is a mixed bag. The image quality using EXR is very good:

On the other hand, shooting in RAW, the results are very far from EXR (JPG) mode:

A couple of extra pictures:

Default X-10 update

I "spoke" with B&H last night (via chat) and learned that they'd gotten a small batch in yesterday that were not yet on their inventory... and was told to call and talk to sales. I did this morning, and while the salesman would not confirm/deny, he took my order.
I had to call back a bit later, as they had gotten something wrong in my order confirmation (in my address) even though my data is correct on their website- and I gave him the correct info...) so while I had the guy on the phone, who was a bit more helpful and professional than the person who took my order, and asked if there were enough units in to cover my order... and while he couldn't be sure, he noted that they only got a few in, and since the time I had placed my order, perhaps 20-30 minutes- they had since cut off accepting any more orders for the time being.
