Default Swapping the battery

Hi!

As an owner of an F550EXR I have one particular question about the new camera: does it loose settings (especially the date/time) when you swap the battery? Apparently my camera lacks a little watch battery to maintain these and this really hurts my experience with the camera, moreso than any of the other common nitpicks like the flash positioning...

Thanks!

Welcome to Steve's.

I moved your post down to our Fujifilm Forum, where other owners of that camera may see it and comment on their experiences.

Some cameras use an internal battery, and some cameras use a capacitor to maintain date/time settings when the main battery is removed.

In either case, they can sometimes deteriorate over time, where you may find that they don't hold a charge for as long.

Can't tell about your camera, but my Fuji X10 holds settings long enough to recharge completely the single battery I own.
