Default Auto Iso hs-10 gone

Hi all

I have a hs -10 and I have noticed that there seems to be no auto Iso. In the manual it says i should have it but no. I am shooting in Raw mode solely and set it back to shoot jpeg. Is there something that i need to press somewhere? I have since gone back to Raw but still no auto Iso. Please someone send me in the right direction.

The "mode" your shooting in might play a part, as opposed to the quality setting.
Are you on "Auto" mode or one of the scene modes as opposed to PASM...?

Hi Simon,

I dont shoot in auto just mainly PASM modes and apature priority being the most common so it is quite interesting.

I was mainly going to experemint with auto iso. In a couple of weeks will be back in oz and shooting with my dslr altho I must admit have enjoyed using the hs-10 after it sitting on backburner.

That is a curious one- as if I remember the HS-10 has various "auto iso settings, with various cappings of "auto 400" up to "auto 3200".
Maybe re-set camera to all default factory settings and see what happens..?

From what I remember Auto ISO only worked in certain modes. Its been a while since I had an HS-10 so I can't remember the specifics. Try to set it in P, A and S modes vs auto modes and see what happens.
