Default Fuji s5000 vs Toshiba M700

My major criteria is a 10X, optical zoom. I have narrowed down to the fuji s5000 and toshiba M700.

How do you compare the two? I have read that the images blurr at the extreme zoom range of 10x. Does fuji have a image stablisation, toshiba doesn't (as given in steve's review)

IF the S7000 has image stabalization, i haven't seen it in my camera..
however, if shooting at 3MP mode, using the extra 6MP sensors to digitally zoom in produces a great 3MP picture that looks better IMHO than other digital zooms from cameras that simply just extrapolate the extra pixels to produce a fake zoom.

The S5000 has a very fast lens (see Steves review). You will not have blurred pictures outside at 10x or inside at 10x with a flash.
