Default Finepix 6800 vs. S602

Can anybody offer some expert advice
in comparing the Finepix 6800 with the S602 ?

I an inclined to purchase the 6800 - just
because of the smaller footprint - but if
there are major picture quality differences
I would be ready to go with the 602.

Thanks a lot,

Main differences :
6800 : smaller, 3x opticla zoom, 2nd generation superCCD 3.3Mpix
S602 : 6x zoom, better video mode, optional lenses and filters, sauper macro mode, manual white balance, higher range of ISO and shutter speeds, ... and new third generation 3.3Mpix SuperCCD.

The F601 has the same CCD as the S602, and the 6800 one must be equivalent to the 6900 one. In other terms, as both (2nd and 3rd generation SupperCCD) have very good comments, the choice has to be made on size, features and the price, and not on the image quality that should be really equivalent.

Hope it helps
