Can someone recomend a wide angle lens for the S5100-S5500, other than the Fujifilm WL-Fx9b?

After going to the photo store and trying four different wide angle lenses I ended up getting the Fuji lens. I found that most of the lenses were in the $130 to $140 price range (US Dollars). The Fuji was $139, so I went with that. Also the test pictures I did were better with the Fuji.

Will this lense work with the S5500? According to this, it won't http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/prod...ducts_id=95262.

This could be why the 5100/5500 is not listed-Look above the photo:

"This product was listed Wednesday 28 April, 2004."

Didn't the 5100/5500 come out later in the year? In any case, my OM lists the WL-FX9( s/b) and TL-FX9 (s/b) asoptional lenses. (s/b=Silver/Black) A note saysthat you must use the adaptor ring included with the CAMERA not the adapter that comes with the Lens.

Here's some other notes;

Only use the lens at the camera's wide angle setting.

The built-in flash cannot be used when the lens is mounted.

I suspect that the flash can't be used because of the size of the lens hood. It will cast a shadow of the lens. This "feature" probably occurs in all accessory W/T lenses. I would be more inclined to use the Fuji lens since their lenses are top quality to begin with.
