Here's two links toa couple of photos I snapped today.

1st link is to a Flaming Red Maple tree on my small college campus; It looked so awesome from the streetI had to run up and grab my camera! (I know, travel with it..., but I was running errands.) If asked, I'll post settings... soft setting, f2.8, P mode I beieve. Both photos are with that same setting, 6 MP Fine mode, (avg file size 2.4 mb)

2nd link is a good friend of mine singing tonight on a dimly lit stage at a holiday ball we had on campus. It was awesome... Small Christian college, the song, atmosphere was awesome. I was snapping photos for the yearbook the whole time. I have a large adjustabe SunPak 455 ( I think) flash, it rocks whatever it is...

And I was using it for the main time ever... and thus that photo you see there, =o) Such emotion... He's a beautiful Tenor voice... we're both Music Majors. =o) I play trumpet...

But I digress... I resized both photos to 1024x768, but I do have the originals if you'd like to see them.

Hope you enjoy them.

Beautiful maple tree! I think the composition would have been better with the tree farther to the left side of center, also the top of the tree either was out of frame or cropped out. Otherwise a fine pic.

It was out of frame... I have better shots too, =o) Different sunlight effects behind the tree, a few other angles. =o)

I can get you the link if you'd like?

Click that, and you'll see a number of photos, all taken by me, recently.
