I've just brought myself an S3500 zoom (although it's called something different in New Zealand.)

I've been out a few times and taken some shots, I enjoy the macro facility immensely as I like to take close up pics of flowers and natural subjects but I don't think much of the zoom facility. I guess practice makes perfect but I wondered what ppl's opinion of the S3500 zoom is?

Many thanks

Wouldn't you use the Macro setting for these kinds of shots

My S3100 took some good shots
