Default Kodak DC4800 (3.1MP) or FUJI2650 (2.1MP) at same price?

I wanted to have both a digital cam and a web cam but now I found this Kodak wich is a 3.1 mp cam for the same price as the 2650 which is a 2.1 mp cam. For such resolution differnce I can skip the web cam and get a separate web cam. So is the Kodak better than the Fuji one. I almost bought the Kodak but wanted to be sure that it is better altough 3.1 vs 2.1 seems a like a huge differnce.
Please help me as I am buying tomorrow morning.

I'm sure whichever camera you chose will work out just fine, as long as you knew what was inportant to you. Most new cameras take great pictures, so you just have to decide on how many Megapixels you need and what feature set appeals to you most. It all depends on what kinds of pictures you take the most. Some cameras are better at static subjects, some work well with action. Some are only good in adequate lighting, some are good for low light photography as well. Some are better at extremely closeup macro work than others. There may always be trade-offs depending on which things are most important to you as an individual. If money isn't a barrier, you might have two or more cameras as you mentioned, each of which specializes in a specific area. For instance, I have 4 35mm cameras, each with a specific purpose and feature set, and two digital cameras.
