Default s602z

I can get a terrific price on a 602z in Tokyo where I am currently working but it is a domestic model. Advice pls as to whether I would have a problem using in Australia with the software in Japanese. Also can you buy an English language manual separately?

Sooner or later Fuji will post the user manual in pdf for download - the big problem is warranty coverage. If your camera needs service you will end up having to send it back to Japan. If you can live with that then OK. Just make sure that you can select English from the camera menu

You can easily overcome the software problem by just buying a SmartMedia or CF card reader, there's nothing special about their software, it just simplifies the download process via the USB cable to the camera.

The 602z has 'region specific' TV out. In Europe this is PAL. The box carries a sticker, Fuji claim they have no serial number database linked to TV out version spec. So check the box carefully
