Default Wide-angle lense for 3800

I need a wide-angle lense for my 3800. Fuji provides WL-FX9 which has a conversion rate of 0.79x. However, I'm looking for some 0.5x to 0.7x lenses, and hopefully cheaper than the WL-FX9.

Can anyone give me some suggestions? Also, please indicate whether I need an additional adapter ring for the recommended lense.

Thanks!

I bought a crystal vision package off eBay .. you nee dthe right adapter though. it's a .5 wide angle and it's pretty good. Pics seem fine despite everyone saying they are supposed to be funny in the corners.

it's WAY smaller than the fuji or raynox jobbies and frankly, at 30mm the fuji lens is a JOKE .. a COMPELTE rip off, they could have just made the lens wider but shose to sell a ridiculously expensive add on. Thieves.

Thanks, Alfisti. In fact, I know little about add-on lenses. Does a 0.5x lense on Fuji 3800 actually means the widest angle will be 38mm x 0.5 = 19mm? Does your Crystal Vision lense cover well the range from 19mm to 38mm?
