I just ordered this screw driver:

"#0 TRI-WING Screwdriver for Fuji Digital Cameras"
http://www.micro-tools.com/Merchant2...;Store_Code=MT

And I'll post if it actually works or not. (I've got a F700).

This same company also has a "#1" Tri-wing here:

Good news: The one I bought at Micro-Tools fit like a glove. It's the #0 one.

Bad news: My F700 is really broken, I was unable to fix it.

thanks for the info. i'm ordering the #0 for my F10 now. Hope it's easily fixable, just a crooked lens. What happened to your camera bipsy?

Kid thought the lens was a pill bottle top. Turned it so hard that the "Fujinon" writing on the lens was upside down, and it wouldn't move after that. In, out or around.

I tore the camera apart last night and the lens opening and closing mechanism was pretty hosed up.

I'm hoping I can find another broken F700 to I can take the parts off each broken camera to make one that works.

This is the second camera in 2 1/2 yrs that has been broken in my house. I broke the first one though.

Thanks for asking.

How about your F10? That's a pretty new camera, hopefully you can repair it.

This will probably be quite a bump, but at least I did my homework before posting a new thread.

So, am I to understand that the #0 from Microtools is the same as the #000 from the hardware store? Was everyone who ordered the #0 satisfied?

I have to take apart my Finepix S3000 to repair or replace the latch that holds the flash down (until the release is pressed.)

I guess the blanket question is: ARE ALL OF THE SCREW HEADS THE SAME SIZE? I, too, need one and I have an A200 series FinePix that is older. The zoom lever/toggle has a sticking problem. And yeah, could someone here compile the info on capatibility for the #0 v. #000? Thanks.

Hey
The one I wound up buying was advertized (on EBAY) as a Gemeboy screwdriver,
and it worked fine on my Finepix S3000. The markings on the screwdriver itself
say 360/3x50, which I guess means 3-millimeter. I happened to have a Gameboy
in the house, and I can see that the screws are indeed the same size. I found a #1 bit at a hardware store and I can tell you that it is too big. But between the
#0 and the #000 I have no idea, since the one I bought did not use that notation.

My advice: so a search on "Gameboy" and get anything that says "3 mm".
