hey guys, ive been having ALOT of trouble finding one of those specialized screwdrivers for the fujifilm fine pix f700 camera, to open it. my zoom lens is stuck and i don't want to damage the camera to fix it. it seems like it is jammed, but also, I don't want to pay $115 to repair it. Can you please give me a website where I can purchase the Y-type screw driver? I have one, but it is too big, I think they require a 2mm y-type screwdriver. If you can send me a site, I would be very thank ful,

Try here:

Some guy in another forum said the y-type screwdriver is called a triwing screwdriver by others.

Good luck!

I tried a "#0" tri wing at my local hardware store. The one listed above is a "#1", has anyone actually tried it and had it work?(in theory, it should be larger than #0, but these seem very proprietary)I also heard that the gameboy one is the same driver, yet I have not found one locally to try. Ebay has some listed also. I think I'll first go back to the hardware here and try to order a smaller driver. The owners will work with me until they find what is needed and I can post my results whenever I get them.

I ordered a #00 and a #000 triwing at the hardware, it's a special order and may take a week or two. I'm not in a big enough hurry to have it shipped specially so whenever he gets it is fine with me. I will still post my results here- good or bad.

Ok, good news. The #000 triwing driver is the correct size.

The bad news, my local guy ordered me one and the manufacturer was out of stock. They sent me a prototype to try out, but I need to send it back to the manufacturer or else they'll send someone over to break my kneecaps. The cost on the unit was only ~$6 U.S. so it's not an expensive item. I forgot the manufacturers name, but I will get that tomorrow when I return the driver and I will also try to get a date of availability.
