Hi folks! I have a S7000 camera I've used continuously since Decmber 2003. Bought 3 different 512 mb xd cards today........ and every card causes a "card error" message on the camera. Old card still work fine. Any ideas?

After flashing the error, does it give you the option of hitting the set or menu button and starting a format? I'd format the cards... that's what I've had to do with CF cards before with my old Fuji s602z.

Is the old card a CF card or xd? I may be stating the obvious, but if it was CF, you will need to change the setting in the setup menu dial to look at the right card slot.

Hi all! Unfortunately I am not able to format the card, or do anything for that matter. Also, I rarely even put CF cards in my cam.
