I am wondering if there is a big difference between 1280X960 and a larger resolution?, I'm going away for a few days next week and won't be able to grab a larger XD card between now and then but of course will want to take more shots .. I take photo's for personal use only .. anyone else use this resolution on a regular basis?

Thanks

Of course you can solve the problem of lack of memory card storage by going to a lower resolution. You may even get ok 4 X 6 photos. How much storage do you have and how many pictures do you plan to take?

No chance to pick up an xD card, eh? That's too bad.

I would use the highest resolution I could.

I like to use as high resolution is possible. On our recent vacation to Alaska I purchased a couple of extra cards that were on sale. I had two 256 MB and two 128 MB cards. I use a 4 MP camera. We had a laptop computer to download our images to. But at one point I had all four cards full because we were shooting so many pictures. You just cannot have enough cards. My camera uses the little xD cards so I watch for a good sale on them since they seem to be a little more expensive than some of the others.
