Try using a program like imageready or photoshop to "optimize for web" and resize the photo instead of cropping. In my experience it looks better.

Light is aninteresting variable to a camera, if your shutter speed is automaticallyslowed down abit too much by the low ISO number, you will not get a tack sharp picture!,,, a slight error in meteringby the camera (color, or poor evaluative light reading)can do this.
