Is the Hood we can see on sample pictures of the S9000 is provided with the camera ? or is it sold separately ?

If i want to add Filters (UV ...), how much is the diam ? 52mm like the S7000 ? do i need an adapter ring ?

Yes, the hoodis included.

58 mm, just like the Sony F-828.

Check out my new thread about the S9000 Hands on Preview.

Regards, Nicholas

Hi and good morning

May I, as a Fuji s7000 lover, put in my two cents worth. Ever since the 7000 hove too on the horizon we've griped about the high ISO and noise. We've learned to live with it and used on board software to bring out the good qualities inherent in the 7000. NOW!!!!if the S9000/S9500 has all the qualities, plus a lower ISO, of the s7000 I'll be satisfied. Having said that, I think we 7000ers are due for a big suprise.I have downloaded most, if not all, of the prints provided by testers (CHINESE)of the 9000 and put them through my usual pre-print routine. A3 prints leave my mates 300d at the start gate. Let's be honest here. Apart from the high ISO the s7000 is a great camera. I have two. I've done weddings, portraits and never had a let down.

My routine for A3 s is:- take at 12. Do any PS work. Then put them through neat image. Next usharp mask Amount 10/20 Radius 50/100 Threshold 0 then a little normal sharpening in Ultrasharp. My order is already on the start line. I want a 9500 NOW!!!!!!!!!. At £450/500 in England. That's a snip. Have you noticed how the price of the s7000 has dipped? If you're not interested in the 9000, maybe strapped for cash, now is the time to grab a 7000. Roll on the good times-----Carlton

Good guess, there's a big clue elsewhere on that site:

class="content"AV Camera 1 Soi Keson (Charenkrong 50), Next to Robinson Bangrak,
New Road, Bangrak, Bangkok 10500
