Just thought I'd add adaylight shot - Lichfield cathedralyesterday. No adjustment to the picture, just framing.

Thanks Malinstreak. Nice pic, but I find it's difficult with landscapes in good light to separate average from good cameras. All cameras would produce good results anyway.

Where did you buy your camera in the UK? Thanks

Sorry everyone. The question I was trying to answer seems to have disappeared. I wish that was a way to completely delete a message.

Gaul, its true about landscapes especially when looking on screen. The difference is when you print out large sizes you get a much better result. I had an S5000 before and printing fullA4 size is just a cleaner image with this one and you can get waay with cropping if you need to.

BTW I bought the S9500 from MX2 when it was £449. I see they're £469 from there now.

Just wanted to say thanks for this forum/thread, I began looking at the Canon S2
and turned towards the Fuji S9000 after reading the specs, then coming here.
I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of attachments can go on the front of the
lens? another zoom, filters, etc...

I live downtown vancouver so lots of water and rainforest trips are coming

Thanks

rob

the front is 58mm, I'm thinking of buying a ring so that my old filters can be used on this cam. Thould be possible to attach teleconverters and macro addon lenses.

To be complete: the manual says only one filter at the time. And after using a filter the lens cover doesn't fit anymore.

Not true Wim I'm using a UV filter and the lenscap still fits.
