Proton,

Firstly, I really like your pics. And I can't wait until I have an opportunity to take some similiar pics of my own.

I would like to know if you are using a starlight filter or if you are doing something with photshop to get the starlight bursts.

I printed this (cropped) picture at A4 size and it looks great. I'm loving my s9500 more and more .
Flash sync till 1/1000 is really great !

great photo dijkx ! I love the water drops standing still!

PS I did not use a starlight filter. It seems the effect occurs automatically in long exposures. (10 seconds or more)

I'm really nervous. I gave up hope of ever finding the S9000 in my 'known universe'. So I did something I've not done before. I ordered one from an online store. It's supposed to arrive tomorrow. I'm so afraid I'll be one of the people that gets one that is defective and have to deal with that through a company that isn't local . So until it gets here, I'm just on pins and needles. I hope by this time tomorrow I can post my own trouble free photos...
