Tried taking some photos of the moon last night with various shutter speeds. Results were pretty poor! Wondered whether Proton or Pr126 could tellus how they achieved theirs. I have noted Pr126's settings and will try these tonight . . . or are the pics taken in daylight?

I've noticed thata greattimefor taking moon pics is at dusk, around 4:30pm at the moment. The moon is lower and bigger and so has more detail. (Needs clear skies though). I know because I missed it last night! Didn't have my camera with me. I'll be reaady today though.

I got some interesting moon pics with partial cloud earlier this week but to get the clouds exposed the moon comesout way overexposed and looks more like the sun.

I have just returned from my 2week italy vacation, I bought the S9500 on the way there and just start shooting. Mostly on auto and natural lightas I didnt have a computer with me to see how things were turning out each night. Most of the photos turned out pretty good. Here are a couple of my favorites:

Really like no 2 - makes you want to be there. Presumably you are happy with the camera?

Sun came out yesterday so I grabbed a few shots down at the beach.
I should have taken a group shot of all the people with cameras :-)
