this morning, 30 mins ago, we were looking out of our frontwindow at home and suddenly a bird landed a few meters from us in the snow, after wondering what I was seeing I decided to quickly grab my S9500 and YES!!! I managed to make about 10 pics before a child scared the bird away....
This was something unique though... a falcon which catched a small bird for breakfast, in the middle of a neighbourhood of a city!

Hi all, I registered somewhile back, but couldnt participate because of exams...

And just found the free time for some amateur photography....

I'm still learning to handle my camera, and hope to share the ups and downs with you all.....

I hope you like this, taken at 10x, and F7 in broad daylight, and photo has been cropped to around 25%....

I am still having problems taking photos at nightconcerts...eg. Of dances, dramas...

Any tips on that?

http://rapidshare.de/files/18257427/zundapp.mpg.html

click on FREE, wait 70 seconds and the link for the video will appear.

on this site you can find a movie that I made with the S9500, I had the camera hanging down from my neck, with an extra small rope attached to the lens from my neck to keep the lens horizontal. Then I drove a bit through the neighbourhood on my oldtimer moped (build in 1974, 32 years old). NOTE: the file is 100mb in size!

There is much wind to be heard so I'm thinking of adding something made of foam or so to the camerabody over the microphone holes to decrease the windy sounds.

PS I also made a website now for my S9500 pix:

Beautiful pictures. I'm still loving my S9000. Have bought a second one for backup and find that I keep both of them quite busy. Here are a couple of picures I took of trout trying to jump upstream to spawn at LeHard Falls in Yellowstone in June. I can't imagine getting these shots with my old camera...
