Please keep in mind that I am a very amateur photographer and still learning the trade. I think the quality of the S9500/9000 prints is very good as I have printed a couple of shots at 12" x 8" (A4) with a regular inkjet printer and the results look promising.

Hereare some samples at 9MP fine setting

Unfortunately webshots only allows up to 2400 x 1800 while the original photos are 3488 x 2616. Should anyone want to see the original files, I'd be happy to send to an email address or in any other way.

I'm glad I found this thread, it's the first real review I've seen on this camera.........thanks. Fuji seems to have made a really good starting platform from which they can make incremental upgrades to meet any challenges from the competition.

Two more samples that may show the quality of this camera. These were taken in complete darkness as can be seen in the first picture taken at ISO 1600 with 1 sec exposure time. The second was taken at ISO 1600 with 30 sec exposure time. Keep in mind that to post here I had to resize to 800 x 600 and compress x 6 (the originals are cleaner from noise)
